Nissan Motor India has achieved an export milestone of 1.1 million units since the commencement of its export operations. This is a crucial accomplishment for the company and a true reflection of Nissan’s‘ Make in India, Make for the World’ philosophy. The company has reached this remarkable feat of crossing 1.1 million units on 29 June 2024 at the Ennore Kamarajar Port, Tamil Nadu with the Nissan Magnite being the milestone unit exported.
Nissan has achieved a significant milestone in export business, driven by the Magnite and Sunny models. This reflects the unmatched demand for Nissan cars in India and key markets. Nissan’s export strategy and capabilities reflect their focus on meeting customer needs globally.
The company has announced cumulative wholesale of 10,284 units, for the month of June 2024, with Year-on-Year(YoY) growth of76.3%and Month-on-Month(MoM) growth of 65.7%. Export wholesale accounted for 8177 units in June 2024, with YoY growth of 149% and MoM growth of 104%&domestic wholesale accounted for 2107 units in June 2024.
