Nissan Motor India ended calendar year 2025 on a strong note, backed by record export performance and steady domestic demand. The company shipped 13,470 vehicles in December 2025, its highest monthly export volume in over a decade. Domestic wholesale stood at 1,902 units, taking total consolidated sales for the month to 15,372 units. Nissan said the growth reflects the continued success of its Made-in-India, export-driven strategy, led by the New Nissan Magnite compact SUV.
Managing Director Saurabh Vatsa said 2025 was a year of consolidation supported by stable domestic sales and record exports. He added that Nissan is now preparing for a product-led resurgence with major launches lined up for 2026 and beyond.
In Guwahati, local dealers say the Magnite continues to see steady enquiries driven by its price positioning and warranty package. With upcoming launches such as the GRAVITE 7-seater B-MPV and Tekton C-SUV, market watchers expect Nissan’s portfolio to appeal to more family and premium buyers in the Northeast.
The company will launch the GRAVITE 7-seater B-MPV on January 21, followed by the global reveal of the Tekton 5-seater C-SUV on February 4. A 7-seater C-SUV will follow in 2027. Nissan is also expanding its network to 250 showrooms by FY2027 as India continues to serve as a key global export hub.
