Nissan Motor India has achieved a significant milestone with the Nissan Magnite surpassing 1.5 lakh cumulative sales as of August 2024, since its debut in December 2020. The company reported its highest monthly wholesale figure for FY24, with 10,624 units dispatched in August, including 8,361 units for export—a record high for the past five years. Domestic sales also showed robust performance, with 2,263 units sold, reflecting a 12.5% month-on-month growth.
Nissan’s success is marked by a remarkable 336% year-on-year and 91% month-on-month increase in exports, aligning with its ‘Make in India, Make for the World’ philosophy. This growth underscores Nissan’s expanding global footprint and commitment to quality manufacturing in India.
