Nissan Magnite achieves 50,000 export milestone, becomes fully E20 compliant

Nissan Motor India has announced that the New Nissan Magnite BR10 (Naturally Aspirated Engine) is now fully E20 compliant, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainable mobility. This development ensures that both powertrain options, including the 1.0L HR10 turbocharged petrol engine, are compatible with E20 fuel, a move aligned with India’s transition towards greener fuels.

In a significant achievement, the New Nissan Magnite has surpassed 50,000 units in export sales since its launch. The introduction of the Left-Hand Drive (LHD) variant has played a key role in boosting exports, with the first dispatch in January 2025. Nissan recorded consolidated wholesale dispatches of 8,567 units in February 2025, including 6,239 units exported and 2,328 units sold domestically. The company’s export figures reflect a robust 97% year-on-year growth compared to February 2024.

Commenting on the milestone, Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, said, “The New Nissan Magnite continues to make its mark globally, crossing 50,000 export sales. Our focus remains on delivering quality, innovation, and performance while aligning with future mobility standards.” The demand for the Nissan Magnite has also been strong in the Guwahati, where the SUV’s affordability, premium features, and fuel efficiency have made it a preferred choice among urban and semi-urban consumers. With the expansion of Nissan’s dealership network and improved service infrastructure, the Magnite is expected to see further traction in the region.
