Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. has reported a 23 per cent year-on-year rise in consolidated sales for February 2026, with total dispatches reaching 10,565 units, reflecting steady momentum in both domestic and export markets. Domestic wholesales stood at 2,230 units during the month, while exports accounted for 8,335 units, underlining India’s growing role in the company’s global supply strategy. The company said February marked a significant milestone with the launch of the all-new Nissan GRAVITE. Customer deliveries of the model commenced nationwide from March 1 following strong booking momentum and positive market response.
Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said February had been an “important and forward-looking month” for the company. He said the consolidated performance reflected stable demand and continued export strength, reaffirming India’s strategic importance in Nissan’s global operations. He added that the response to the new GRAVITE had been encouraging and that the coming months were expected to reflect stronger portfolio momentum. The company said continued traction for the Nissan Magnite and the launch of GRAVITE would support sustained growth and network expansion.
In Guwahati, dealers reported steady enquiries for compact SUVs, with rising interest in newly launched models. Industry observers said improved infrastructure and growing urban demand in Assam and neighbouring northeastern states were expected to support Nissan’s retail performance in the coming quarters.
