Nissan Motor India has crossed a significant milestone, achieving a cumulative 5 lakh domestic sales since its operations began. With 5,13,241 units sold to date, the company also reported impressive performance in November 2024, registering total wholesale dispatches of 9,040 units. This includes 2,342 units in domestic sales and 6,698 units for export.
November’s growth marks a 62% increase in total consolidated sales from October 2024, driven by a substantial surge in export shipments. The export business showed remarkable year-on-year growth of 222%, compared to 2,081 units in November 2023, and a month-on-month increase of 173.5% from 2,449 units in October.
Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, expressed pride in the company’s performance, highlighting the growing trust customers have in the brand. He also pointed to the launch of the New Nissan Magnite, which has contributed to both domestic and export growth. “The unprecedented growth in our export numbers reflects our manufacturing strength and the increasing global demand for ‘Made in India’ vehicles,” he stated. In Guwahati, the launch of the New Nissan Magnite has been met with enthusiastic response, contributing to the brand’s rising presence in the Northeast. Customers are attracted to its bold design, segment-leading features, and safety innovations, reinforcing Nissan’s reputation for offering quality vehicles at competitive prices.
