The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam, has revised the application schedule for the recruitment of regular teachers in Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) schools. As per the latest notification issued on Monday, March 3, the online application process will now begin on March 8 and continue until April 8, extending the earlier deadline. The change has been introduced to meet administrative requirements, ensuring a smoother recruitment process.
The recruitment drive, initially announced on January 8, was followed by an update on February 14. However, apart from the revised application timeline, all other terms and conditions remain unchanged, the DEE confirmed in its statement. Candidates aspiring for these teaching positions are advised to visit the official website (dee.assam.gov.in) to check eligibility criteria, application procedures, and other important updates.
The move is expected to provide applicants with more time to complete their submissions and fulfill the necessary formalities.
