Nemichand Bamalwa Launches Flagship Jewellery Store in Guwahati, Announces 50% Off on Making Charges

Nemichand Bamalwa Jewellers (NCB), a nearly 40-year-old and widely respected name in Indian jewellery, has launched its largest-ever flagship showroom in Guwahati, marking a major milestone in luxury jewellery retail in the Northeast. To mark the opening, the company has announced an introductory offer of 50% off on making charges across collections.

The expansive showroom was officially unveiled by noted personality Nishita Goswami and will open to the public on February 7, 2026.

NCB is known for pioneering what it calls the “22/22K gold jewellery” standard, aimed at ensuring gold purity and transparency. The company says its jewellery maintains 22K purity even after melting, without any deduction in gold weight. Traditionally, jewellery crafted in 22K gold often used lower-purity solder, reducing overall gold content and affecting long-term value. NCB states that its approach helped establish a new benchmark for fairness and customer trust.

With its Guwahati entry, the brand is offering customers direct access to its signature collections designed for weddings, bridal wear, and special occasions. The range includes jewellery in natural diamonds, gold, Jadau, and Polki, crafted with an emphasis on design, craftsmanship, and long-term value.

Speaking at the launch, directors Pramod Bamalwa, Vinay Bamalwa, and Ravi Bamalwa said the expansion into Guwahati was the result of three years of planning.

“Our philosophy is simple: luxury must combine international standards with local warmth. We wanted to create not just a store, but a meaningful presence built on openness, honesty, and community trust,” they said, inviting customers from Guwahati and across the Northeast to explore the collections.

Pramod Bamalwa highlighted the company’s in-house design and manufacturing capabilities. “Our unique design language, authenticity, and customer loyalty set us apart. We do not outsource our jewellery and are always available to address customer concerns,” he said.

Ravi Bamalwa added that the Guwahati showroom was opened in response to long-standing demand from customers in Assam and neighbouring states.

Vinay Bamalwa announced the introductory offer, stating that customers will receive 50% off on making charges across collections for a limited period.

Known for its focus on fair pricing and value, Nemichand Bamalwa Jewellers said the Guwahati launch is part of its continued effort to expand into new markets while strengthening its legacy of trust.
