Nemichand Bamalwa Jewellers (NCB), a nearly four-decade-old jewellery brand known for its transparency and craftsmanship, has announced the launch of its flagship showroom in Guwahati, marking a significant expansion of luxury jewellery retail in the Northeast. The store, located at Ganeshguri on GS Road, will open to the public on February 7, 2026. The showroom was officially unveiled by noted personality Nishita Goswami. With the new outlet, customers in Guwahati and across the Northeast will gain direct access to NCB’s signature collections, including wedding, bridal and party wear jewellery crafted in natural diamonds, gold, jadau and polki designs.
NCB is widely recognised as a pioneer of the 22/22K gold jewellery standard, ensuring that jewellery retains full 22K purity even after melting, unlike traditional practices where lower-purity solder reduced the overall gold value to 18K–20K. The innovation set a new benchmark for transparency and customer trust in the industry.
Directors Pramod Bamalwa, Vinay Bamalwa and Ravi Bamalwa said the brand spent three years planning its Guwahati entry to build a meaningful presence focused on “openness, honesty and community trust.” The company said the expansion reinforces its legacy of fair pricing while strengthening its footprint in new markets.
