The Muhurat Ceremony of a new web series ‘The Clinic’ is held at the Hotel D’ Courtyard, in Guwahati today. Under the aegis of Moyur Creations, this web series is directed by the emerging director Hitartha Borah. Distinguished singer Bornali kalita played the clapstick and Arghyadeep Baruah and Udayan Duwarah rendered the Muhurat Shot.
Speaking on the occasion, the Director Hitartha Borah said, “The Clinic’ is not only a web series, but it is an accumulation of multifaceted mindset. It represents the positive as well as the negative sides of our society. The web series is totally motivated for social awareness. It depicts different stereotypes and prejudices of our society. It also represents corporate culture, peer pressure in Guwahati. The series has many folds which gradually unveils.”
The series is coming up with a young and fresh team headed by Hitartha Borah. It consists of stellar cast including Prasenjit Borah, Hiranya Deka, Aparna Dutta Choudhuri, Udayan Duarah, Arghadeep Baruah. The web series is also paving the way for young faces including Bedabrat Borah, Bedanta Prakash Borah and Hitartha Borah himself. The web series has two songs sung by Shankuraj Konwar and Prabin Borah
The series would definitely be a refreshment from the mainstream content.
Acclaimed writer and critic Moyur Bora, renowned entrepreneur Shyam Kanu Mahanta and Dr Swapnali Das Borah, a professor of the Cotton University were also present at the function along with other dignitaries.
