The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has launched its DBIM-compliant website, marking a major step toward India’s digital governance transformation. The new platform aligns with the Digital Brand Identity Manual (DBIM) Version 3.0, introduced by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), ensuring seamless accessibility, uniformity, and ease of navigation for users. The AI-powered website features multi-language support through Bhashini, persona-led navigation, and centralized content management. With its three-click approach, citizens can quickly access essential skilling resources and government services.
Launching the website, the Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), MSDE, stated, “The DBIM framework strengthens the government’s vision of ‘Minimum Government, Maximum Governance’ by providing a standardized and citizen-centric digital ecosystem. This transition ensures that skilling opportunities are more accessible and efficient for every citizen.”
The website serves as a one-stop digital hub, integrating Skill India Mission, PMKVY, NAPS, and other flagship initiatives with real-time dashboards, performance metrics, and impact stories. MSDE is among the first five ministries to adopt DBIM 3.0, reinforcing its commitment to transparent and efficient public service delivery. The revamped MSDE website is expected to benefit stakeholders in Guwahati, a growing hub for skill development and entrepreneurship. With industries expanding in sectors like manufacturing, IT, and retail, the platform provides seamless access to training programs, apprenticeship schemes, and employment opportunities, helping local businesses connect with a skilled workforce and drive economic growth. The Minister urged all MSDE-operated portals to transition to DBIM standards, ensuring a unified digital governance system under the Skill India Mission.
