MSDE conducts Rashtriya Karmayogi Seva-Bhav training to strengthen governance

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) conducted a training session under the Rashtriya Karmayogi Seva-Bhav Program of the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) on Tuesday, reinforcing the government’s commitment to transforming public service through Mission Karmayogi. The initiative aims to enhance governance by instilling accountability, collaboration, and a people-first mindset among officials.

MSDE Secretary Atul Kumar Tiwari emphasized the broader impact of skilling beyond individuals and said, “Skilling is not just about individuals – it’s about empowering institutions, strengthening governance, and ensuring that every decision we take aligns with the larger goal of national development. This session reaffirmed our commitment to proactive leadership and transforming governance into a purpose-driven, people-first mission. I extend my gratitude to our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for his vision of Mission Karmayogi, which is modernizing civil services and equipping officials with the right mindset and skills to drive India towards Viksit Bharat @2047.”

Under Phase-I, Shri Pritam Dutta, Director, MSDE, who was trained as a Master Trainer by CBC, led the session at Kaushal Bhawan, New Delhi for nominated officials. The training, structured into four modules, involved reflective discussions, experience-sharing, and problem-solving exercises to improve public service delivery and inter-departmental coordination. The initiative is expected to impact governance at multiple levels, including regional markets like Guwahati, where efficient public administration plays a crucial role in economic growth. With improved service delivery and proactive leadership, the market is poised to benefit from better regulatory frameworks, smoother business operations, and enhanced government support for skill-based industries. As the Rashtriya Karmayogi Seva-Bhav Program expands, it is set to create a more responsive and accountable civil service, shaping India’s governance towards efficiency and transparency.
