Advantage Assam MoU Exchange Ceremony will take place on March 12 at the Srimanta Sankaradeva International Auditorium in Guwahati, following the Advantage Assam 2.0 summit held the previous year. Approximately 800 participants are anticipated at the event. An official has announced that Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), and Land Allotment Letters with a total value of Rs 1,02,945.46 crore are expected to be exchanged. Additionally, investment proposals amounting to Rs 10,186.67 crore are under review for formal documentation. The investment pipeline includes Rs 54,669 crore from Central Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and Rs 63,686.40 crore from Infrastructure Ministries of the Government of India, particularly in sectors such as Railways, NHAI, and NHIDCL. In total, investment proposals worth Rs 2,54,386.85 crore are anticipated to be evaluated during the event.
