Montra Electric has announced its formal entry into the Kolkata market for the Super Cargo with the delivery of the first lot of electric light commercial vehicles. The batch will be deployed to support last-mile e-commerce operations under Dash-EV’s memorandum of understanding with logistics major “Delhivery”, marking a key step in expanding sustainable logistics solutions in eastern India. The Super Cargo by Montra Electric designed for high-turnover urban e-commerce, the Super Cargo features a 1.2 Ton GVW and a 170 cubic feet container, optimized for both efficiency and volume.

This deployment prioritizes driver comfort with a spacious cabin and offers a best-in-class range backed by a 5-year/1.75 Lac kms battery warranty to ensure a superior total cost of ownership. For seamless operations, the vehicles include the “1’m One Montra Electric” application for real-time tracking, enabling partners to reduce emissions without compromising on the speed and reliability essential for last-mile delivery The delivered Super Cargos are zero-emission vehicles designed for dense urban routes and high-turnover delivery cycles.

The initial batch of 15 Super Cargo vehicles, supplied through Montra Electric’s authorised dealership Selladale Motors, is part of a larger order that signals a multi-phase rollout across Kolkata and surrounding districts.
