Messe Frankfurt and MEX Exhibitions announce pan-India alliance

Messe Frankfurt and MEX Exhibitions have announced a strategic alliance to merge their exhibition portfolios under a unified national platform. The announcement was made during the opening of Gifts World Expo – Delhi 2025.

The new joint initiative will bring together renowned shows such as Paperworld India, Corporate Gifts Show, and Gifts World Expo, extending their reach to Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Kolkata. This move is designed to boost market access, ensure year-round engagement, and create region-specific business opportunities for exhibitors and buyers alike. The February 2026 Mumbai edition will mark the rebranding of the Corporate Gifts Show under the Gifts World Expo umbrella, broadening its scope. Meanwhile, Paperworld India will debut in New Delhi in 2026, with plans to expand into other cities.

In Kolkata, the alliance is expected to unlock regional potential by tapping into East India’s expanding retail and corporate sectors. Kolkata’s growing appetite for premium gifting and stationery aligns well with the national strategy, offering exhibitors access to an evolving and high-demand zone. Industry leaders expect the collaboration to scale exhibitions globally while supporting India’s USD 3.49 billion stationery and USD 75 billion gifting markets.
