India Medtronic Private Limited has appointed Mandeep Singh Kumar as the new Vice President and Managing Director of India Medtronic Pvt. Ltd. starting May 2024. He succeeds Michael Blackwell who has moved back to the US to pursue new opportunities. Assuming this position, he will oversee sales, marketing, and commercial operations for Medtronic’s business in India.
Mandeep Singh Kumar, with 25 years of experience, has successfully led growth and business transformations in healthcare, pharmaceutical, and med-tech sectors, specializing in strategy development, execution, commercial excellence, and global team building. “It gives me immense pleasure to commence a new journey with Medtronic, a company that is globally renowned for transforming healthcare,” said Mandeep Singh Kumar.
Mandeep’s previous role was as Country Leader with Intuitive India where he led the development and implementation of plans to broaden patient access, build a holistic ecosystem for robotic assisted surgery, and drive successful customer robotic programs.
