Gurgaon-based Medanta – The Medicity, India’s top-ranked private hospital by Newsweek for six consecutive years, is set to host a three-day multi-speciality medical camp in Kohima from June 25 to 27. Organized in collaboration with the Government of Nagaland, IDAN, Directorate of Industries and Commerce, and Nagaland Police, the initiative aims to deliver accessible, high-quality healthcare to underserved communities in the Northeast.
The camp follows Medanta’s MoU with the Nagaland government under the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS), reinforcing its commitment to expanding advanced healthcare services in remote regions. The event will be held across three key locations, targeting government employees, public sector staff, and police personnel.
Nagaland faces critical healthcare gaps, particularly in cancer treatment, making such outreach crucial. Medanta CMD Dr. Naresh Trehan said, “Our mission is to make cutting-edge healthcare accessible to all, no matter where they live.”
