Marico Innovation Foundation launches InnoWin Day to propel cleantech, agritech and circular economy startups

Marico Innovation Foundation (MIF) has launched InnoWin Day, a strategic initiative aimed at scaling India’s next-generation cleantech, agritech, and circular economy innovations. The event, held today, connected innovators with key funding sources, including investors, grantmakers, and institutional customers, to drive breakthrough ideas into scalable enterprises. The inaugural edition of InnoWin Day featured 24 high-potential startups, including winners of the Indian Innovation Icons 2025—AssisTech Foundation, Chara Technologies, Indra Water, PARI, and Rocket Learning. Additionally, startups from MIF’s Scale-Up program, such as Brisil, GreenPod Labs, Ishitva Robotic Systems, and Urban Kisaan, showcased their transformative solutions in climate resilience, water management, and sustainable materials.

Leading corporates and investors, including Vedanta, Colgate-Palmolive, Reliance Industries, ITC, and JSW Ventures, engaged with startups to explore potential investments and market access. The event featured a keynote by Harsh Mariwala, Chairman of Marico Limited, and a panel discussion on scaling strategies, highlighting success stories like S4S Technologies and Atomberg Technologies.

Kolkata, a hub for sustainable business and emerging startups, stands to benefit from MIF’s initiative. The city’s growing interest in green technologies and industrial collaborations makes it an ideal market for these cleantech innovations. With ITC and other corporate giants headquartered in the region, Kolkata offers opportunities for startups to integrate sustainable solutions into mainstream industries. “Innovation thrives through collaboration, and InnoWin Day is our effort to foster this ecosystem,” said Harsh Mariwala. Suranjana Ghosh, Head of MIF, emphasized the event’s goal: “We aim to bring capital, customers, and conversations to innovators, helping them scale effectively.”
