Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has launched the all-new Mahindra Veero, setting a new benchmark in the light commercial vehicle (LCV) <3.5 t segment with prices starting at ₹7.99 lakh. The Veero, built on Mahindra’s innovative Urban Prosper Platform (UPP), is India’s first multi-energy modular CV platform supporting diesel, CNG, and electric powertrains.
The Veero boasts best-in-class mileage—18.4 km/l for diesel and 19.2 km/kg for CNG—coupled with a robust 1,600 kg payload capacity. Key features include a driver airbag, a reverse parking camera, and a 26.03 cm touchscreen infotainment system. Its performance is driven by a choice of a 1.5-litre diesel engine or a Turbo mCNG engine, delivering up to 67.2 kW of power.
For Howrah, the Veero’s superior maneuverability and high payload capacity promise to enhance operational efficiency. Its compact turning radius and versatile cargo options are expected to appeal to local businesses seeking reliable and cost-effective transportation solutions. Veejay Nakra, President of Mahindra’s Automotive Division, highlighted the Veero’s capability to transform business operations by offering unmatched savings, advanced safety features, and a premium driving experience.
