Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has expanded its Veero light commercial vehicle range with the launch of the new Veero 1.1 XXL CNG and the upgraded Veero Diesel, strengthening its multi-energy Urban Prosper Platform (UPP).
The Veero 1.1 XXL CNG, designed for intra-city applications, offers a 1.1-tonne payload and a 2,900-mm cargo deck. It has a 5.1-metre turning radius and is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine producing 48.5 kW of power and 98 Nm of torque. The vehicle delivers an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 21.4 km/kg and a combined Petrol+CNG range of over 450 km. It is targeted at FMCG distribution, e-commerce, courier, market-load and fruit and vegetable transportation.
The upgraded Veero Diesel now features a 26.03-cm touchscreen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and voice commands, along with cruise control and LNT technology. Other features include AC with heater, reclining driver’s seat, flat-fold seats, power windows, fast-charging ports and D+2 seating. Mahindra’s iMAXX connectivity suite now adds remote AC control.
The Veero 1.1 XXL CNG is priced from ₹8.25 lakh, while the upgraded Veero Diesel starts at ₹8.29 lakh, ex-showroom. The CNG model will be available from September 20, while the diesel range is available from September 8.
