Macaw Paints celebrates Holi with multi-city festive campaign across Eastern India

Shyam Steel’s Macaw Paints organised vibrant Holi celebrations across several cities in Eastern India under the theme “Holi Ke Rang, Magic Ke Sang,” creating festive experiences that blended traditional Holi celebrations with interactive activities. The multi-city initiative covered Kolkata, Patna, Lucknow, Varanasi and Bhubaneswar, drawing enthusiastic participation from residents and visitors. In Kolkata, the main celebration was held at PC Chandra Garden, where a high-energy rain dance arena featuring a giant Macaw Paints bucket installation emerged as a major attraction. Local celebrities and influencers joined participants in what organisers described as a spirited “Macaw wali Holi.” Similar large-scale events were organised at prominent venues in Lucknow, Varanasi, Patna and Bhubaneswar, each reflecting the cultural character of the respective city.

A major highlight of the event was a colourful balloon wall installation where participants burst balloons with darts to gradually reveal the hidden MACAW brand name. The activity drew strong engagement, with many participants sharing their winning moments on social media. Special selfie zones inspired by the bright hues of the macaw bird also became popular attractions as guests tossed gulal and captured festive moments with friends and family.

Speaking about the initiative, Megha Beriwala Gupta, Marketing Director at Shyam Steel Group and Macaw Paints, said Holi symbolises vibrancy, togetherness and expressive joy, values that the brand aims to celebrate through interactive consumer engagement.
