LEGACY COLLECTIVE, the Bacardi brand synonymous with the Spirit of India, has launched a remarkable Nakshi Kantha art piece in collaboration with the renowned NGO She Kantha at the prestigious Ahiritola Sarbojanin Durgotsav. This initiative aims to preserve the centuries-old tradition of Nakshi Kantha, celebrated for its intricate craftsmanship and rich storytelling rooted in Eastern India.
The event featured a captivating live demonstration on two 100-foot-long Kantha cloths, hand-painted by local artisans, highlighting the exquisite artistry of Nakshi Kantha. LEGACY COLLECTIVE also pledged a donation to support She Kantha’s efforts in promoting and preserving this traditional art form.
