Veteran actor and vlogger Ashish Vidyarthi and his wife Rupali Barua were injured in a road accident in Guwahati on Friday night after being struck by a speeding motorcycle while crossing the road. The incident took place around midnight near The Guwahati Address Hotel. Both individuals were injured and were taken for medical treatment, with their conditions reported as stable. The motorcycle, identified as an Avenger, was driven at high speed, and the rider also sustained serious injuries, requiring hospitalization at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital. Police from the Geetanagar Police Station initiated an investigation, suggesting overspeeding as a possible cause of the accident, with further inquiries ongoing. Vidyarthi, a National Award-winning actor recognized in Hindi and regional cinema, has also gained fame as a travel and food vlogger.
