Kumar S and Maharaja B have represented Tamil Nadu State Deaf Cricket Team

Refusing to let physical disabilities hold back, individuals with high determination continue to strive towards achieving their goal and creating a better life for themselves. A remarkable example of this are two hearing impaired youths -Kumar S and Maharaja B, from Tamil Nadu, who pack customer orders in Amazon’s fulfilment center in Coimbatore. Both of them play for the Tamil Nadu State Deaf Cricket Team and continue to ace in the cricket field as well as at the workplace.

Things were different for Maharaja B in terms of his family situation. His lives with his father and younger brother in xxx, Tamil Nadu. His fatheris also hearing impaired.Maharajaalways worked hard to bear the financial responsibilities of his family. He too faced challenges like Kumar while communicating with peopleand was looking for an opportunity that could help him become financially stable and at the same time, provide an environment where he isn’t made to feel different.Kumar and Maharaja share a common interest incricket and are very passionate about it.

Both of them represent theTamil Nadu State Deaf Cricket Team. Kumar is the opening batsman and Maharaja has been an all-rounder in the team. While working at Amazon, both devote time to practice and play for the state and have received tremendous support from their work teams to pursue their interests.
