Kerala Tourism launches ‘Travel Now, Post Later’ campaign, plans nationwide roadshows ahead of summer season

Kerala Tourism has launched a nationwide campaign titled “Travel Now, Post Later”, promoting mindful travel and encouraging travellers to experience destinations fully before sharing moments online. The initiative, positioned as a global movement, highlights presence-led travel experiences and is being promoted across official digital platforms along with a dedicated microsite. Tourism Minister P. A. Mohamed Riyas said Kerala has witnessed a strong post-pandemic surge in tourist arrivals, with new experiential tourism products gaining significant response from domestic and international visitors. He expressed confidence that the upcoming inbound season would sustain the growth momentum.

To attract travellers ahead of the summer holidays, Kerala Tourism has begun an all-India promotional drive featuring roadshows, partnership meets, and participation in major trade fairs between January and March. After events in Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, upcoming B2B meets will be held in Kolkata, Lucknow, and Indore to showcase new tourism offerings and boost domestic footfalls.

Cultural attractions such as the Kochi–Muziris Biennale, running until March 31, and the Nishagandhi Dance Festival in February are expected to draw visitors. The state is also promoting new destinations in North Kerala, heritage trails under the Muziris Heritage Project, and adventure, wellness, and luxury tourism experiences, while emphasizing Kerala’s reputation as a safe and globally recognised travel destination.
