Kalpataru Projects Bags ₹4,439 Crore Orders, Strengthens Global T&D Footprint

Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL) has secured new orders worth ₹4,439 crore in its core transmission and distribution (T&D) business, reinforcing its position as a leading global engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) player.
The latest contracts span multiple geographies, including high-voltage transmission line and substation projects in Africa, additional transmission assignments within India, and a substation project in Sweden. The company confirmed that these wins include official notifications of awards and contract confirmations.
With these additions, KPIL has exceeded its annual order intake target of ₹26,000 crore, reflecting strong demand for power infrastructure and the company’s growing international presence.
Commenting on the development, Managing Director and CEO Manish Mohnot highlighted that the T&D segment remains a key growth driver. He emphasized that the company’s integrated capabilities and execution expertise enable it to deliver complex, large-scale projects across global markets.
The fresh contracts underscore KPIL’s strategic focus on expanding its footprint in high-growth regions while maintaining a strong base in domestic infrastructure development. The company has steadily built a diversified portfolio that spans power transmission, civil construction, water supply, railways, oil and gas pipelines, and urban mobility projects.
Industry observers note that rising investments in energy infrastructure, especially in emerging markets and Europe, are creating significant opportunities for EPC firms. KPIL’s ability to secure projects across continents reflects both its competitive edge and the increasing global demand for reliable power networks.
The company’s continued success in winning large orders also signals resilience in the infrastructure sector, which has been driven by government spending, urbanization, and the push for energy security.
As KPIL strengthens its order book, the focus will now be on timely execution and maintaining margins amid global economic uncertainties. Nevertheless, the latest wins position the company for sustained growth and reinforce its standing as a key player in the global T&D landscape.
