Justice Abhijit Ganguly: ‘To reach the Tip, Abhishek Banerjee should also be interrogated by CBI and ED’

Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay’s comments regarding the letter sent by Kuntal Ghosh, who was caught in recruitment corruption, to the lower court and Hastings police station. Justice Gangopadhyay made such a comment in that context on Thursday. He said, “Abhishek Banerjee, Kuntal Ghosh should be interrogated by ED, ED-CBI very soon.” Recently, Abhishek spoke about CBI-ED from a meeting at Shahid Minar in Kolkata. Said that Madan Mitra and Kunal Ghosh were being pressured during Sarda to mention his name. After this, Kuntal claimed that he was also being pressured to take Abhishek’s name. Even wrote letters to the lower court and the police in that application. In that context, Abhishek’s name was heard from the mouth of Justice Gangopadhyay. I know Kuntal’s application based on Abhishek’s comment. During the hearing of the case, Justice Gangopadhyay said today, “ED-CBI has reached the waist of corruption, heart and head are yet to be reached. You are wasting time, hurry up, why are you failing in your duty? Where has the real money gone? Let’s find out.” What is CBI-ED doing?” Even before this, the name of Trinamool All India Secretary Abhishek was heard from the mouth of Justice Gangopadhyay. Abhishek spoke about the role of Kolkata High Court in a meeting. Justice Gangopadhyay commented in the interview given to ABP Anand that if he wanted, he could have summoned Abhishek by issuing a rule. Abhishek raised questions about that later. Justice Gangopadhyay also ordered that the state police cannot file an FIR against any investigating officer of the ED-CBI in the recruitment corruption case without the permission of the court. – He said that the lower court and the police cannot take any action on the basis of Kuntal Ghosh’s charge sheet until further orders. CBI and ED will continue the investigation in the case.
