JSW MG Motor India has selected eight startups for the sixth edition of its MG Developer Program (MGDP), aimed at promoting innovation in automotive technology, mobility, sustainability and industrial operations.
The winners — Nayan Technologies, Technod8.AI, LiveNSense, LW3, Smaartbrand by Acquink Solutions, Fitsol, Cautio and Meta Materials Circular Market — were chosen following a multi-stage evaluation process. The programme received more than 130 applications, with over 40 startups shortlisted for presentations and 18 reaching the final jury round.
The winning startups will collaborate with JSW MG Motor India and ecosystem partners on pilot projects and real-world applications. Their solutions range from AI-powered road intelligence and industrial AI to electric vehicle battery supply chain compliance, customer intelligence, supply chain decarbonisation and automotive recycling.
Managing Director Anurag Mehrotra said the programme would help startups test and scale innovations addressing emerging challenges in mobility and automotive technology.
The initiative was launched in partnership with organisations including DPIIT, Startup India, Jio, Gulf Oil India, TERI, BSES Rajdhani Power Limited and other industry partners.
In Kolkata, the programme could create opportunities for automotive suppliers, technology firms and mobility service providers to adopt AI-driven solutions, improve operational efficiency and advance sustainable mobility.
Since its inception in 2019, MGDP has attracted more than 1,680 startup entries across connected mobility, electric vehicles, artificial intelligence and sustainability.
