Through sheer dedication, Abhijnyan Gogoi, a promising boxing trainee from Jorhat, has managed to shine in just seven months. A trainee of the Jorhat District Boxing Association, Abhijnyan Gogoi has brought pride to Jorhat by getting selected to represent the state in the national boxing tournament after only seven months of training.
Abhijnyan Gogoi will represent the state in the under-15 years, 67 kg category at the Sub-Junior National Boxing Championship to be held in Jalandhar, Punjab, from June 22. It is worth mentioning that he earned the opportunity to represent the state after participating in a two-day selection camp held in Guwahati.
