JK Cement strengthens eastern presence with ₹500 crore Buxar grinding unit

JK Cement has initiated a significant expansion in Eastern India with the foundation of a new Grey Cement Grinding Unit in Buxar, Bihar. The ₹500 croreproject, announced during a BhoomiPujan ceremony led by Vice Chairman Dr. NidhipatiSinghania and Joint Managing Director & CEO Mr. MadhavkrishnaSinghania, underscores the company’s commitment to meeting the growing demand for premium cement in the region.

The new facility, with a planned capacity of 3.00 MTPA, is poised to elevate JK Cement’s overall production capacity to over 30 MTPA by next year. Managing Director Dr. RaghavpatSinghania remarked, “This grinding unit marks a historic step in our strategy to strengthen our footprint in Bihar. It will address rising demand and contribute to the state’s economic and infrastructural development.”

Muzaffarpur, a key market in Bihar, is witnessing increasing demand for high-quality cement due to rapid urbanization and infrastructure projects. JK Cement’s entry is expected to stabilize supply and meet the region’s evolving construction needs, providing a competitive edge in this dynamic market.
