Jindal (India) Limited, a key player in the downstream steel sector and part of the renowned B.C. Jindal Group, hosted its first retailer meet, ‘Milaap’, in Sainthia, West Bengal, in collaboration with Jain Ispat. The event witnessed participation from around 85 local retailers and was aimed at deepening engagement and expanding the company’s reach in eastern India.
Senior officials from the company showcased premium products including Jindal Sabrang, a vibrant colour-coated steel solution, and Jindal NeuColor+, known for its advanced corrosion resistance and aesthetic durability. Retailers were briefed on the product advantages and the company’s upcoming capacity expansion plan of 0.6 million MT, backed by a ₹1,500 crore investment.
In Sainthia, the event marks a strategic push by Jindal (India) to consolidate its presence in semi-urban steel demand hubs. With increasing infrastructure and residential growth in the region, local retailers welcomed the initiative, citing improved product accessibility and brand connect as key takeaways. Company representatives also discussed future strategies, gathered retailer feedback, and reinforced their commitment to support India’s infrastructure growth while enhancing their footprint in eastern and southern markets.
