Jaya Hind Industries Pvt Ltd has set a new benchmark in India’s manufacturing sector with the installation of the country’s largest 4400-ton high-pressure die-casting machine at its Urse plant near Pune. This state-of-the-art machine, sourced from Buhler-Switzerland, is poised to revolutionize the production of complex aluminum structural components, offering unparalleled precision and capacity.
The machine enables the production of intricate aluminum parts, including cradles, shock towers, housings, and advanced components for electric vehicles (EVs), heavy-duty transmissions, and flywheels for commercial vehicles. “This marks a proud moment for Jaya Hind Industries and the Indian die-casting industry,” said Mr. PrasanFirodia, Managing Director. “It empowers us to meet the growing demand for large, complex parts, particularly in the fast-growing EV sector.”
The installation strengthens Jaya Hind’s position to cater to both domestic and international Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), further boosting India’s standing in global die-casting technology. The machine’s capabilities are expected to enhance production capacity and efficiency. In Kolkata, manufacturers are particularly keen on adopting advanced die-casting technology for producing lightweight, high-strength components required for the automotive and electric vehicle sectors. Jaya Hind’s investment is set to drive growth in these segments, benefiting local industries and suppliers in the region.
