Jaguar TCS Racing finishes runners-up in 2023 ABB Formula E World Championship in London

Jaguar TCS Racing finished runners-up in the 2023 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship with 292 points, the team’s biggest points haul in Formula E. With 11 podiums, four wins, and three Pole positions, the team has seen great success. Mitch Evans finished third in the Drivers’ World Championship with 197 points, only two points behind second-place Nick Cassidy. Sam Bird finished the season in eighth, his 44th and final race for the Jaguar TCS Racing team. Envision Racing, Jaguar’s customer team, took the Teams’ World Championship, bringing the two Jaguar teams to the top two.

In the final race, Jaguar TCS Racing and Envision Racing were equal on points. Mitch Evans and Sam Bird were in sixth and sixth positions, respectively. The rain-affected race was red-flagged due to safety concerns, after the rolling restart, Nick Cassidy and Mitch Evans were fighting to define the teams’ title. Envision Racing secured the win with 29 and 7 points, respectively, while Sam Bird drove an efficient and clean race to finish in seventh position.

 Envision Racing, Jaguar’s customer team, clinched the 2023 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship title with 304 championship points.
