The Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) has closed registrations for its Season 2 mega auction, recording a 50% spike in rider entries with 155 racers from 21 countries across six continents. This growth cements ISRL’s position as a global hub for elite Supercross talent, blending world champions with emerging Indian stars.
New entrants like Greg Aranda (France), Justin Starling (USA), and Luke Clout (Australia) join returning icons such as Matt Moss (Australia) and Jordi Tixier (France), while Indian talents Ikshan Shanbhag and Rugved Barguje continue to shine. The auction, scheduled for August, will determine franchise line-ups for the October–December season featuring 450cc International, 250cc International, and 250cc India-Asia Mix categories.
ISRL Co-founder Eeshan Lokhande said, “We’ve built global trust. The rider quality reflects the league’s fast rise as a world-class Supercross platform.” In Guwahati, excitement is building among motorsports enthusiasts and dealers. Local fan clubs anticipate increased engagement, and retailers expect a boost in demand for biking gear, fueled by the sport’s growing visibility. The Northeast’s youth, known for adventure sports affinity, is eyeing ISRL as a new frontier in professional racing. With superstar Salman Khan as Brand Ambassador, ISRL Season 2 promises to redefine India’s motorsport landscape.
