Investors Roundtable in Nagaland to attract new businesses

The State Government of Nagaland in association with Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER) organised an Investors Roundtable in the city to showcase and promote Nagaland and Northeast region as a hub for trade and investment to Global Investors.

The Investors Roundtable was jointly organised by the Department of Industries & Commerce and Investment Development Authority of Nagaland in association with FICCI (Industry Partner), Invest India (Investment Facilitation Partner),and EY (Knowledge Partner).

The Roundtable was graced by Shri Neiphiu Rio, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Nagaland and Shri T. R. Zeliang, Deputy Chief Minister, Planning and Transformation with other official dignitaries. The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Nagaland, Shri Neiphiu Rio, addressed the inaugural session of the investor Roundtable, He added,” The presence of the investors signifies our collective commitment and a shared vision for unlocking the vast trade and investment potential of Nagaland and the broader North Eastern region”. Nagaland is the seventh-largest producer of Coffee and Rubber in India, home to 650 indigenous species of medicinal and aromatic plants, 46 species of bamboo, and quality wild honey. Investor interest in Agri and allied sectors due to its biodiversity.
