The Solapur Garment Manufacturers Association (SGMA) is planning to host its annual exhibition in Varanasi, Maharashtra, to promote the growth of the uniform industry. The event, which will feature over 10,000 designs of uniform clothes, will attract 200 leading brands and showcase over 20,000 garments on display. This move aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a major uniform industry hub in Maharashtra.
The 7th Uniform Exhibition by SGMA will take place in Kashi Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, from 16th to 18th December 2023. Inspired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s words, the initiative is set to take on a newer scale in his constituency.
The exhibition, organized by SGMA’s Shri Satish Pawar and Shri Prakash Pawar, will feature over 200 brands from leading manufacturers like Mafatlal, Valji, Qmax, Sangam, and Sparsh. The exhibition will showcase over 10,000 designs of uniform clothes and 20,000 designs of garments, as well as accessories like ties, belts, school shoes, socks, bags, blazers, and garment-related machines. The world uniform market is expected to reach $25 billion by 2030.
