IntelliSmart Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., India’s leading smart metering and digital solutions company, unveiled the third edition of its flagship innovation challenge and hackathon INSTINCT. Hon’ble Minister of Power and New & Renewable Energy Shri R K Singh launched INSTINCT 3.0 at the National Dialogue on ‘Smart-Metered India for a Digitalised & People-centric Power Sector’.
InstinCT 3.0 will focus on specific problem statements that have risen from the real-life on-ground operational application of smart meter projects. These include developing a reliable design solution that will enhance the ability of smart electricity meters to withstand electricity surges up to 10 KV, creating a prototype of an energy exchange platform based on smart meter-enabled aggregated data and blockchain settlement, and demonstrating a solution in which the Electricity Smart Meter host/gateway for connecting and managing home appliances, and residential EV chargers, has the footprint to connect other utility meters.
Prize money of Rs 10 lakhs has been allotted for the winning ideas. Speaking about the launch, Mr. Anil Rawal, MD & CEO, IntelliSmart said, “We have already incubated some of the winning ideas of the previous editions of INSTINCT for mass-scale commercialization.”
