Infosys Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Infosys, has announced the fourth edition of its Aarohan Social Innovation Awards, committing INR 2 crore to support social innovators across India. The awards aim to recognize individuals, teams, NGOs, and social enterprises developing technology-based solutions in education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability that can significantly impact underprivileged communities at scale.
Submissions will open from April 24 to June 15, 2025, inviting Indian citizens aged 18 and above to present fully functioning prototypes or completed projects through video entries on the Aarohan website. Winners can receive up to INR 50 lakh each, selected by a distinguished panel based on real-world impact, scalability, and founder dedication.
Sumit Virmani, Trustee of Infosys Foundation, emphasized the importance of innovation in addressing social challenges and uplifting communities, encouraging innovators nationwide to participate and drive meaningful change. The Aarohan Awards offer promising opportunities for local social entrepreneurs to showcase innovations that address regional issues, especially in education and healthcare sectors.
