Indus Towers distributes 1,550 relief kits to flood-affected families in Sitamarhi

Indus Towers, a prominent telecom infrastructure provider, has extended support to flood-stricken families in Bihar’s Sitamarhi district, distributing 1,550 relief kits through its CSR initiative, Pragati. The distribution took place at Harivansh Middle School, Bishnupur, in the presence of Mr. Binod Prasad Singh, Mukhiya of Panchayat Barheta, who praised the company’s timely assistance.

“This initiative by Indus Towers brings crucial relief during this calamity. Their prompt response, with resources and restored connectivity, is invaluable for our community,” said Mr. Singh, emphasizing the importance of collective support in disaster recovery. A dedicated team of 22 volunteers from Indus Towers coordinated the distribution. Tejinder Kalra, COO of Indus Towers, affirmed the company’s commitment to disaster relief, “Our teams are devoted to restoring telecom services and supporting affected families in staying connected, essential for relief coordination.”

Sitamarhi, critical for local supplies and economic activity, has been heavily impacted by the floods. Indus Towers’ relief efforts are pivotal in helping the community regain stability, with residents relying on restored communication for both personal and business needs, essential for the market’s gradual recovery.
