The Indian textile industry is gearing up for Gartex Texprocess India 2024, from 1st to 3rd August at Yashobhoomi (IICC), Dwarka, New Delhi. The event will highlight innovations and sustainable production, featuring over 600 brands from seven countries, including major Indian names like AT Inks and Aura Technologies, and international players like Brother and Dupont.

The Indian textile market, projected to grow at a 10% CAGR to USD 350 billion by 2030, has seen a recent export surge of 9.59% in May 2024, according to the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI). This growth aligns with the government’s initiatives to make India a global manufacturing hub.Kolkata, a significant textile hub, stands to gain from this event. The city’s manufacturers, known for their expertise in fabric and garment production, are eager to adopt the latest technologies showcased at Gartex. This will enhance their competitive edge in both domestic and international markets, driving growth and innovation in the Kolkata textile sector.
