On International Women’s Day, the Red Shield Division of the Indian Army held various health and wellness initiatives in Mizoram, Tripura, and Manipur to enhance preventive healthcare and raise medical awareness among women and their families. Key activities included an HPV Vaccination Drive in Aizawl, where seven girls were vaccinated to help prevent cervical cancer, and a blood donation camp in Agartala, which saw 35 volunteers, including women, donating blood to bolster local healthcare resources. Additionally, a health check-up and awareness camp in Leimakhong, Manipur, involved 125 women and family members who received medical screenings and learned about the importance of maintaining long-term dental and physical health.
