Indian Army Conducts Awareness Lecture On The Agnipath Scheme At Kakopathar

Continuing its outreach efforts to inspire the youth of the region, the Red Shield Gunners, under the aegis of Spear Corps, conducted another awareness lecture on the Agnipath Scheme at Padmanath Gohain Baruah Government Model College, Kakopathar.

The session aimed to guide and motivate students towards a career in the Indian Army by providing authentic information about enrolment as Agniveers. During the interaction, Army representatives explained the key aspects of the Agnipath Scheme including eligibility criteria, educational qualifications, recruitment process, medical standards, training structure and the four-year service tenure. Students were also briefed about the financial benefits under the Seva Nidhi package and the wide range of career opportunities available after completion of service.

The lecture was conducted in an engaging and interactive manner, allowing students to freely ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of life in the Indian Army. The enthusiasm and curiosity displayed by the young participants reflected their growing aspiration to serve the nation and wear the olive green with pride.

Such initiatives by the Indian Army not only provide clarity about recruitment opportunities but also nurture a spirit of patriotism, discipline and national service amongst the youth, strengthening bond between the Army and the people.
