India showcases skilling and AI innovation at TiEcon 2025

At TiEcon 2025, the world’s leading technology and entrepreneurship conference, India showcased its impressive strides in skilling and AI innovation. Addressing a global audience via a recorded message, Shri Jayant Chaudhary, Hon’ble Minister of State (I/C) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, highlighted the government’s efforts to nurture over 1 million entrepreneurs through initiatives like Startup India, Skill India, and Atal Innovation Mission. His remarks were made during the opening of TiEcon 2025, held at the Santa Clara Convention Center, California. This year’s theme, “AiVerse,” underscored Artificial Intelligence’s transformative potential across industries. A high-level Indian delegation, led by experts in deep-tech, climate innovation, healthcare, AI, and digital transformation, emphasized India’s expanding role as a global innovation partner.

Minister Chaudhary said, “India stands at a powerful inflection point where innovation, enterprise, and skills are converging to shape a new global narrative.” India’s participation reflects its growing prominence as a talent hub and global AI leader.

In Guwahati, local entrepreneurs and tech innovators are increasingly leveraging these national initiatives to scale up their ventures, contributing to Assam’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem. The state’s focus on skill development and AI adoption aligns with the broader vision, positioning Guwahati as a key player in India’s AI-driven future. At the event, Shri Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO of NSDC, emphasized the importance of skilling youth for the AI era, with platforms like Skill India Digital Hub offering nationwide access to training in emerging technologies.
