Lyon, September 13, 2024: In a boost for India’s WorldSkills 2024 contingent, Minister of State (I/C) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Shri Jayant Chaudhary, visited the competition in Lyon, France. Over two days, Chaudhary, alongside Secretary MSDE Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, met with the 60-member team competing in 52 skill categories, including robotics, web development, and culinary arts. His visit highlighted India’s dedication to global skills development and showcased its burgeoning talent.
Chaudhary engaged directly with competitors, observing their work and expressing pride in their achievements. “Our competitors’ dedication and enthusiasm are truly impressive,” he remarked, reinforcing India’s commitment to becoming a global leader in skills and vocational training.
