Recently in a major breakthrough, the Bagdogra police have arrested four individuals with several ATM cards from different banks. Actually the arrested accused identified as Irfan Ahmed, Naeem Alvi, Mohammad Raja, and Gaurav Sarai, are all residents of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Significantly, the four have been arrested at the Bagdogra Airport. Reportedly, during a check at the Bagdogra Airport, the CISF actually found over 100 ATMs of different banks in their bags. Subsequently, all four were handed over to the Bagdogra police station for interrogation. Following an interrogation the police actually learned that the four accused had arrived at Siliguri from Purnia in Bihar and were intending to depart for Delhi from the Bagdogra Airport.
However, the question remains as to how the accused actually obtained so many ATM cards. In fact all four were unable to produce any reasoning to the police in this case. Meanwhile, the arrested accused were later produced before the Siliguri Court today. Additionally, police remand has been requested to investigate the situation.
