iKure, a leading primary healthcare startup organization, in partnership with Centre for Sustainable Health Innovations, Public Health Foundation of India, Cattellyst, Recanteur Media and several other leading global organizations is set to launch a first-of-its-kind initiative, ‘Unconference for Solutions’ on February 23-25, 2023, in the heart of the Sundarbans. The two-day initiative is aimed at breaking down the boundaries for community-based thought leaders, innovators, and researchers to address resilience, adaptation, access to health and mitigation as part of a collective community-led transformative solution for sustainable development and healthcare reforms in the region.
The Unconference, a unique initiative at the intersection of health and environment, will propose a framework for action to bridge the gap between climate and health. It will facilitate real time peer-to-peer learning and collaboration to foster creative thinking towards long-term solutions that can bring a change at the grassroot level and address the issues of equity that will have a long-term sustainable impact.
Three tracks will focus on different aspects of healthcare and sustainable development, including digital solutions and innovations to tackle the key existing challenges and empower women from the local communities by contributing to solving the raging issue of last-mile delivery of healthcare. Sujay Santra, Founder & CEO, iKure, said, “The Unconference is a first-of-its-kind initiative to craft a framework towards community-led sustainable transformative healthcare solutions.”
