IIT Madras is offering its first-ever off-campus BS Degree in Electronic Systems program, which emphasizes electronics, embedded programming, digital systems, and control engineering. The last date to apply is 25th June 2023. This program will enable students to apply the acquired engineering principles and knowledge to implement and improve systems and processes for applications.
The IITM program is aligned with the country’s semiconductor mission and designed in consultation with industry leaders. It includes in-person labs at IIT Madras, providing hands-on practical training to enhance students’ understanding of electronic systems. Students will gain industry-ready skills to be employable in automotive, semiconductor, and defence industries in various capacities such as electronic system designer, embedded system developer, electronic hardware specialist, system testing engineer, and electronics research engineer.
Prof. V Kamakoti, Director, IIT Madras, said, “The application deadline is approaching, and we warmly welcome aspiring students to join this remarkable program.”Prospective candidates must have completed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics, and there is no age limit to join, making it accessible to anyone seeking to upskill and reskill themselves in electronic systems.
