The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) hosted the Guwahati edition of WongaWits Season 2, YES SECURITIES’ flagship “India’s Premier Finance and Stock Market Quiz,” drawing over 100 participants from more than 10 colleges across the region. The event, which has previously electrified audiences in Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, and Lucknow, tested students on financial fundamentals and real-world stock market dynamics through multiple competitive rounds.
The IIT Guwahati students dominated the competition, securing all top three positions and claiming the title in a clean sweep, demonstrating quick thinking, analytical depth, and effective teamwork. Adding a lively twist, RJ Aliya from Big FM engaged the audience with witty interactions and games, blending entertainment with learning. Winners from this edition will advance to the Grand Finale in Mumbai on 19th December 2025.
In Guwahati, the event highlighted the city’s growing enthusiasm for financial literacy among youth. Students and participants from the region displayed strong analytical skills, reflecting the rising interest in stock markets and investment strategies in Guwahati, an emerging hub for education-driven financial awareness.
