ICICI Prudential Life Insurance has launched ICICI Pru iProtect Smart Her, a comprehensive term insurance plan designed specifically for women, combining life protection with health, wellness and financial flexibility. The product offers women a 15% lifetime premium discount and a pregnancy break benefit to help manage premium commitments during pregnancy. It also provides women-specific health management and wellness services worth up to ₹25,000.
These services include tele consultations across multiple specialties, annual health check-ups, health risk assessments, wellness content, and pharmacy and diagnostic discounts. The company said the overall benefits under the product are worth up to ₹92,100. The plan also offers Child Education Care through an increasing income payout option for 10 years. Under the feature, the death benefit is paid to the nominee as income, increasing by 10% annually for 10 years.
Vikas Gupta, Chief Product Officer, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, said women’s financial planning requirements evolve across different stages of life and the product addresses their protection, healthcare and wellness needs. The company said digital capabilities will support purchase, self-service and claims. Its Q1 FY2027 claims settlement ratio stood at 99.3%, with non-investigative individual death claims settled in an average of one day.
