IBM) has announced its plans to expand the capacity of IBM Technology Expert Labs in India, aimed at aiding clients in leveraging technologies such as AI, Hybrid Cloud, and Cybersecurity to maintain competitiveness in today’s dynamic business environment. With operations in Bengaluru and Kochi, the IBM Technology Expert Labs comprises a team of specialized technical professionals who will provide guidance, design, and execute outcome-based engagements for clients worldwide, ensuring tangible value and mitigating implementation risks.
The move comes as businesses globally ramp up their adoption of transformative technologies like AI and Generative AI to drive innovation and efficiency. However, according to the Global AI Adoption Index 2023 conducted by Morning Consult on behalf of IBM, a significant portion of surveyed companies (33%) cited limited AI skills and expertise as a barrier to successful AI adoption, while 35% highlighted the lack of implementation skills as a major inhibitor for adopting Generative AI.
